Question Starting OVer

xserver won't load and now i'm wondering if it would be easier to start over then to fix; however being new to Linux I'm not sure what to do. I have several books and have read through these forums and other web sites, but there always seem to be steps missing or an assumption of more understanding of Linux then I have. Please help!

What's the error? Or are you just not using the startx command?

Reinstalling is always a last resort.. Like Proud mentioned, errors please and more details will get your better responses or were left in the clouds, clueless like you are cause we can't read minds.
