starting kde

Hey guys, i just got my X11 forwarding to work, so now i can type XTERM, or XClock and it will show up on my win box. However, what command will start my kde.

i tried startkde, start kde but that didnt work:

[root@cis15 /]# startkde
bash: startkde: command not found

is there something i should be doing, that im not?

TY

try kdm for Kde Display Manager but you have to be loged in as root to start it
then select the desktop you want to boot, kde gome etc.
