starting gui

When I start Mandrake 10 it opens in terminal instead of starting the gui. How do I start in the desktop mode instead of terminal?

Edit /etc/inttab.

Change this line:

if you are trying to get to the desktop from the terminal so that you can edit it, type:


That should get you into kde, if not just type:

from console type telinit 5
that will restart you in GUI and keep the changes/
