Starting a KDE app minimised?

Hello,

After using Debian for a week, things are looking good.
Unlike Windows 2000, it doesn't believe that I can run 6 PCI devices from one IRQ (Although this was my fault, I had "Plug 'n' Play OS" on in the BIOS when Windows installed, although I couldn't change it even after turning it off ).
There was the brief fiasco wherein mine and Debian's definition of "stable" appeared to clash, resulting in me installing a system that was behind the times, to say the least. A quick change of apt-get sources and scratching my head when I found out it had uninstalled KDE later, and all was well.

What I'd like to know is, is it possible to start a KDE app in its minimised form? I've got KMixer autostarting to complete the Windows-esque look, but it keeps bringing its window up instead of sitting in the system tray quietly.

Yes, I know that, and that feature's turned on, but when you first start the program, its main window appears as well. Isn't there a way to prevent that?
