Start Up


I have Suse Linux Pro. 9.3 and i have about four programs starting up on the Desktop when Kde starts. eg.Kmobile Tools and Skype etc.I want to know how to stop this happening.

Somewhere in kde control center there´s a setup where you can choose between having the desktop starting as a fresh new or just like the last one. Try changing this.

debian's kde shall not be too diff from suse's:

Control center > KDE components > Session Manager > On Login.

Choose "Start with an empty session".
