Start PapugLinux from USB; which boot codes?

Hello,
I loaded the PapugLinux files from the ISO on a CF card (connected on an IDE adapter to my desktop; this CF card is used sometime on an USB adapter for booting other PCs). But it dont boot. Why? Which boot code should I use?
When I make (return) on the PapugLinux, it stay in the syslinux menue and dont boot.
(the other menue TinyCoreLinux, Slitaz, Warry Puppy, KNOPPIX.. boots; but not this one)

in syslinux.cfg is:

LABEL copy2ram
MENU LABEL Run PapugLinux Copy2Ram
KERNEL /boot/vmlinuz
APPEND vga=0x318 ramdisk_size=9999 root=/dev/ram0 rw noauto copy2ram
initrd /boot/initrd.xz

TEXT HELP
Use this option to start fresh
system, no changes are neither
read nor written anywhere
first copy all data to RAM then boot
ENDTEXT

Maybe F1 on boot may give boot cheat code options like a Knoppix cd maybe. Just guessing though.

Edit: I wonder also if adding
Code:
APPEND vga=0x318 ramdisk_size=9999 root=/dev/ram0 rw noauto copy2ram media=usb
To that line will help any either. Just stabbing in the dark here though.

My stab in the dark media=usb comes from what Puppy does to find Puppy in grub. It is not tested by me though and is a bastardization of what puppy does to find the files. Probably won't work. But one does not know till one edits a file and tries. One can always delete the entry. That Is why I like using grub legacy. One can edit the boot on the fly at boot screen. If successful boot. Then one can edit /boot/grub/menu.lst to what was done on the fly at grub screen. If it does not work. No harm done and one can try different editing parameters on the fly till you get a successful complete bootup.

Forget it. Papug Linux is too old. No way of being happy with it.
