Start over with new distro due to problems.
I installed Debian Lenny on my inherited ibook g3. Had display problems that I attempted to fix for a week with no success. I don't have the $ to take it to someone to put another distro on for me so I was wondering, on startup I've tried to hold "c" and have it boot my LXDE Linux mint for PPC on the bootstrap prompt and the screen will flash once and go back to that prompt, I hit c again and it says loading cd rom and you hear the drive spin and then after a while...nothing. I have discs for Mint, Ubuntu, and Fedora and have tried all three this way. I know how to get into OpenFirmware but have not been able to boot from there either. What are the commands? Please help.
