SSL error

My site works normal but when I tried to access by SSL https:// my site now shows

The requested URL / was not found on this server.

I have been googling but all my permissions are set as my site shows normally , but normal when accessing via ssl.

Anyone has any idea for a fix please?

Thank you

I am using centos5, apache2

Hi,

Without httpd.conf and ssl.conf it's difficult to guess
Could be that the DocumentRoot of the SSL vhost is different from the one of the non-SSL vhost.

Regards

in httpd.conf I have :

Listen 0.0.0.0:880
Listen 0.0.0.0:443

<VirtualHost *:880>
ServerName www1.domain.net
ServerAlias www1.domain.net
DocumentRoot /var/www
ServerAdmin support@domain.net
<IfModule mod_suphp.c>
suPHP_UserGroup nobody nobody
</IfModule>
ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ "/var/www/cgi-bin/"
</VirtualHost>

below for ssl config, i have

Listen 268.53.15.10:443
<VirtualHost www.domain.net:443>
DocumentRoot /var/www
ServerName www.domain.net
ServerAlias www.domain.net
ServerAdmin support@domain.net
ErrorLog /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log
TransferLog /usr/local/apache/logs/access_log
SSLEngine on
SSLCertificateFile /usr/local/apache/conf/ssl.crt/domain.net.crt
SSLCertificateKeyFile /usr/local/apache/conf/ssl.key/WWW1SERVER.key
#SSLCACertificateFile /usr/local/apache/conf/ssl.crt/gd_bundle.crt
<Files ~ "\.(cgi|shtml)$">
SSLOptions +StdEnvVars
</Files>
<Directory "/var/www/cgi-bin/">
SSLOptions +StdEnvVars
</Directory>
</VirtualHost>

Since you're using the same docroot for both SSL and not-SSL apache, you can check error_log to see why you get this error.
could be because your configuration is not correct. Better use:
Code:
Listen 880
Listen 443
...
<snip>
...
NameVirtualHost *.443
<VirtualHost *:443>
...
<snip>
...
</VirtualHost>
