Use your package manager? Can you please give more information about what the problem actually is? ssh client? ssh daemon? Also, what distro are you using?

Regards,

i tried to run
Code:
php -v
and this message appear
Quote:
PHP Warning: Unknown(): Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php4/ssh2.so' - /usr/lib/php4/ssh2.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0
i checked at /usr/lib/php4/ directory and my ssh2.so not there. and i also tried "locate ssh2.so" and nothing shown. i'm using centos.

Hmm, not so familiar which RHEL based systems. You might be able to find the package with:

Code:
yum provides /usr/lib/php4/ssh2.so
Or perhaps
Code:
yum provides '*/ssh2.so'

Are you sure that /usr/lib/php4/ssh2.so ever existed? I did a quick web search and I can't find anything to indicate that it is packaged for CentOS.

updatedb just updates the database used by programs like locate.

I strongly suggest you use your package manager to either (re)install php-pecl-ssh2 or find the correct package that provides /usr/lib/php4/ssh2.so
