ssh user bandwidth monitoring

Found this list on this forum:
http://www.ubuntugeek.com/bandwidth-...for-linux.html

But need some help.

I need to monitor the bandwidth consumption of ssh users on a per user basis.

Anyone know if any of the above will do that? or, if anyone knows which package will do what i need?

Debian 4.0 server

Not trivially ... from a network layer perspective an incoming
ssh connection will first be owned by the root user who runs sshd.

You could have a look at http://www.nufw.org/ which, as far as I
understand, has the facility to log user traffic.

Cheers,
Tink
