The first thing that jumps out at me is that the addresses 192.168.0.100 and 172.31.9.192 are RFC1918 meaning that they are for use on a private LAN only. Unless you have a VPN these addresses won't go across the internet.

hi k.kshitij,

How did you connect to you amazon server? ssh <some IP or host name> ?
if so use the same <IP or hostname> do not use the IP 172.31.9.192.
And I do not think you can access your PC from Amazon cloude server, But you can put files like scp or sftp from your PC to amazon server.

Try:
scp -r <files/directories> <your_username>@<amazon server IP or hostname>:~/.

Hi,

Yeah you are right I was making that mistake, Finally i was able to transfer the files from the Ip that I used to login in the amazon server.
Thanks anyways

I dont know what is the issue and why I'm not able to transfer the files to the amazon server when I'm getting connected to it.
Any help in this regards is appreciated.
What is the command you are typing to transfer the files ?
