ssh keeps asking for password

Hi

Pls help me on this.

WHen I try to ssh on Linux from one host to another or same, the ssh keeps asking for password.

I have regenerated the pvt/pub key pairs and trying to ssh to the same host but it keeps asking for password.

Appreciate your help on this..

thanks

well you've not said anything about debug outputs and the likes, but the most common issue with PSK not working tends to be permissions on the files. If they are not set right they will not be used. make sure the files in ~/.ssh are set as 600 with ~/.ssh itself set as 700.

and if it is not permissions, please give us the output of
Code:
ssh -vvv <yourhost>
and maybe relevant (last login) entries from /var/log/auth.log
