SSH issue in CentOS

In my VPS hosted with a provider SSH is not connecting, they informed me to login to recovery mode and check, how to do it?

Is there any way to check ssh, port 22 seems to be blocked

They probably have some kind of control panel where you get console-like access and can reboot the server. From there you log in even if sshd is not running and fix whatever you find.

if possible, you can try to telnet server 22 in windows machine,
otherwise using nmap to scan port opening. (i.e.: nmap is an port scanning for security)
