squid server not caching site

Dear All,
i configured squid on debian lenny as caching server .but it cannot cache a sites. i set the cache_mem = 64 MB. and my cache_dir /var/spool/squid.
access.log files only show tcp_miss all the time. i even open one site several times.but it show me tcp_miss why not show me mem_hit in access logs file.

With this info no one will be able to give you a sensible answer.

Please post your squid.conf, and some snippets from your log.
