Post squid ncsa_auth authenticating and not for some reason

Greetings:

I modified my squid.conf for my personal configuration. Look at # 1, if I put my http_deny deny all here, the authentication never prompts but configuration works. It allows yahoo.com and block other sites.

If I put my http_access deny all in # 2, It prompts for username/pasword but ALL SITES are allowed even i only allowed yahoo.com.

HOW COME? Can anyone guide me. thanks

It will depend on the contents of the "/etc/squid/squid.auth.users.acl" file. If there are no restrictions in that file, it will override, since you are then using it for your authentication and permissions.
