Hi,

I also need to administrate MS SQL servers from Mandrake 10.

Is there a generic client that can connect to most common databases via ODBC (a console client would be most suitable).

I am not a developer so I don't have any knowledge that will allow me to make and compile my own.

VHD.

I tested some clients and at last I use one called Freetds or tsql

It works ok with SQLanywhere.
