Question SQL Startup error : Error while setting value '@MYSQL_TCP_PORT@' to 'port'


When i startup mysql i get the following error

Error while setting value '@MYSQL_TCP_PORT@' to 'port'

What does this mean and what do I do to fix it...step by step please

I re ran install_db script , and now I get this error :

040807 23:22:51 mysqld started
040807 23:22:52 InnoDB: Started
040807 23:22:52 Fatal error: Can't open privilege tables: Can't find file: './mysql/host.frm' (errno: 13)
040807 23:22:52 Aborting
