sql error cant register on the gentoo forum
 

Hi the problem is trying to register on the forum, when i press submit i get a debug screen come up telling me i have sql error 1064 . so i deleted every partition reformatted the hard drive reinstalled a new os and went back to the gentoo forums and same message. So what is sql and how do i fix it?

This sounds like a problem on with the forum software, not a problem on your end. Or, is the debug 'screen' an application (gdb?) on your end?

An SQL error is an error in the database, sql refers to something like MySQL, a database application. Which, unless you are hosting the forums, means you shouldn't be getting any sql errors locally, so it's probably an error on the forums.
