Split Screen Fedora

I just downloaded the ISO's and burned them. I am going to install Fedora, but I don't know what I need to do to enable splitscreen. In windows its pretty simple and I have never done it with nix before. Please help this n00b.

Do you mean having 2 monitors hooked up to 2 video cards on the same machine?
Fedoras' control center gives you the option of spreading your display over 2 monitors

Basically it's just a matter of editing your xorg.conf just search for dual display xorg.conf either within the forum or on google. should pull up plenty of examples. It's fairly easy.

there's a risky possibility to enable dualhead (when manually editing and the system-config-display doesn't work) :

1.) delete xorg.conf
2.) switch to runlevel 3.
3.) login as root and enter "system-config-display", this will autodetect your videocards and you have a dualscreen.
4.) customize your xorg.conf (e.g. nvidia instead nv and so on)

for me this worked but i take no responsibility for that :-)
