Spam


Hi,
How can I activate the SPAM filter in Kmail thanks
I cannot see where to start

Kmail doesn't have a built in spam filter. I use fetchmail to get my mail, procmail to call spamassassin and bogofilter (two different spam filters). Then kmail just gets the mail locally (select "local" rather than POP3").

There are lots of ways to set it up though. Have a read of http://kmail.kde.org/tools.html#antispam for more information.

may I ask you to describe how you call spamassassin via procmail?
I would like to install that similar config on my workstation.

The following lines in .procmailrc should work :

:0fw
| /usr/bin/spamassassin
