SOX problems!

I am a complete newbie! I installed SOX on my mac os x (tiger) by following the instructions that were included in the SOX package. I am under the impression that the play and rec commands are included in the SOX package. But when I type those commands i see the 'command not found' message. Should I do anything to include the command or does it require a different installation? Any help on this would be really appreciated. I need to get this done asap. Thanks in advance for your help.

I noticed that there are two files titled 'play' and 'play.in' in a directory inside the SOX package - I dont know how run them or how to enable those commands. Please help!

try typing the whole path to the file. I don't know how Mac paths are structured, exactly, but in linux it would be something like:

/home/sam/SOX/play
