SourceForge Like Scripts

I dont know where to find help for my problem. I don;t know if this is the right forum, I will just try my luck.

I want to build up a site similar to sourceforge where developers can post development of a project (open source). Somebody have suggested GForce but examining the codes, I guess (I might be wrong) that it is not possible for a VHOST environment.

Is there anybody out there who can suggest how can I make GForge work without access to the root of the web server. Is there any alternative to this.

Appreciate very much for any help.

BTW, my web host runs linux, apache and mysql.

There shouldn't be any [obvious] problems running this in a vhost environment. A quick google shows it's being done elsewhere. Just make sure your vhosts.conf is setup correctly.

Cool
