sound works, sorta, must modprobe -r then reload.
 
Took many tries reinstalling the card, and trying a couple of others, before I got a peep. I am listening to Air America Radio now because I remove the drivers and then reload them using modprobe. I would like to have the sound work without having to do this. I have searched for files with modprobe anything in them. I have looked in all the sound like name init.d files.

SUSE Pro 9.1
Card is CMedia 8738 SX
Drivers are Cmedia 8738 DX

Do I need to recompile the kernal or something like that?
