sound problem
 
my system is p4 3.00ghz, 2gb ram, 945MB, and im using RHEL3. Sound is not working. i didnot use any sound card. when i try to install

aumix-0:2.8-6.EL.i386
cdparanoia-0:5.21.4.10.8-0.EL 3.2.i386
dvd+rw-tools-0:5.21.4.10.8-0.EL 3.2.i386
dvdrecord-0:0.1.2-12.i386
vorbis-tools-1:1.0-6.i386

from add/remove application system is asking disk 4, but i didnot have disk 4, So from where i can download these files and how to istall help me step by step.

You do ine thing. If you are connected to internet just install external repository from here.

And theen try to install the packages by yum.

#yum install <pkg name>

e.g.

#yum install aumix
For your sound ,try to install alsa-lib,alsa-utils packages.
