sound card issues
I am a hopeless newbie. It literally took me about two hours to figure out how to change the screen resolution using linux. This is my dad's laptop, and I'm pretty sure he installed linux redhat enterprise linux ES, but I don't really know what's going on. I need to figure out how to configure the soundcard on the system. When I go to the soundcard detection thing, it tells me that the maestro 2e was found on my system, and as far as I know, it should be supported. But when I go to "play test sound" it tells me that the maestro driver could not be loaded, and that my soundcard may not be compatible. And of course, I don't hear any sound.
