Sound card and TVOut problems.
 

Hi, I am a newbie to Linux but I am starting to pick it up. I have been looking around here for some timebut have yet to find answers to my problems.

I am running Mandrake 9.2 on a 2GHz P4.

First problem;

I have a sound card, its a Sound Blaster Audigy dont know the details. But I also have the built in sound card on the mother board.

Basicly the problem is that It will only play via the onboard one and not the sound blaster one. The system has found it, as you can see here;

Any help with this would be great.

Second Problem;

I have a GForce4 Graphics card, and it works great, but I want to use the TVOut function. It worked great under WinXP with Nvida Twin View but I cant get it to work with mandrake.

Anyway, thats it for now, any help will be very appreciated. Thanks in advance;

i would disable the onboard soundcard in your bios, then run alsaconfig as root and you should be all set.
