Sound Card & directory

Ok, two questions:

1. Why won't my sound card work?


My sound card worked on windoze xp fine.

2. Why is my cd being read in /mnt/hdd ?

That's why I couldn't find my cd, I have to type dir /mnt/hdd -a to see my files, shouldn't it be dir /mnt/cdrom -a?

1) you're joking right? you've not even told us what the sound card IS?!!?

2) that's fine. change /etc/fstab if you wish.
