some very basic information required
 

well, i know these may be very basic..but i don't know..although i have implemented dhcp- on linux, mail server...(not yet on linux) !! but i need to know some terms..in order to understand documentation..

what is :

1. dhcp realy agent and why its necessary ?

2. what about mail delivery agent and mail transport agent ? (I guess mail transfer agent "MTA" is the mail server itself but what is mail delivery agent ?)

Let me support wiki and say that all of that information could have been had by simply going to wikipedia.
