Some Questions

Hey Guys,
I just installed RH Valhalla and I have a question. When I use GNOME, all the icons seem big, like marshmallows. I realise that this is probably a RTFM question, but does anyone know how I make them fit better on my screen? I have a Toshiba 1625 CDT if it matters.

Another question I have is this: Linux text editors and GNOME in general doesn't seem to recognise my backspace key. There is no problem in command line mode, but as soon as I go to the GI, it doesn't want to work. Any ideas?

right click on icon
choose stretch icon
click on little box in one of the corners in the box that appears round the icon
click, hold and move box inwards
this resizes the icon

Sorry about that, false alarm. I just needed to readjust the resolution using XConfigurator
