solaris login
i am using solaris 10....
for a particular user, i am able to login using two different passwords (or), i am able to login using either one of the two passwords..... how ......tell me...please..i am fearing that it would become a security issue.. user:x password:yyyyyyyyyyy $ user:x password:yyyyyyyyyyyz $ both are working for successful login.... |
Are you sure the User Name is the same ?
Unix is case sensitive. It is highly unusual to have multiple passwords for a user account. |
Suggestion:
1. Enter FEWER letters 2. Stop when the login FAILS 3. Enter DIFFERENT letters for n+1 |
now it is getting me too cumbersome....
because, ssh x@a.b.c.d password:yyyyyyy(any leter) $ what is this....i am really clueless...(i am not able to login into the actual system, eventhough i enter right password, but able to login using ssh ) |
