i am running mempis 3.3 and i am having a problem with the audio while booting, it was working before but for no reason u don't hear the bootup sound anymore, tried my best to fix it on my own but failed. could someone help me on this.
i am running a celeron 1.7ghz with 512mb memory and a cmedia sound card. (dont remember the exact type but it is a 3d sound card)
After installing mepis i had to use apt-get and intall discover1 to get audio which work great exept when running kopet the sound server somtimes crashes.
it's after booting the system the next day the audio u get at the splash screen is missing but other than that, audio works fine.
