snaptic package manager

I just installed Ubuntu, and I tried to install my Brother mfc printer driver, and it failed.

now i can't load package mngr because of it.

Exactly how did you attempt to install the driver, and what happened?

FWIW, Windows drivers aren't needed and won't work with Linux. Try rebooting into Recovery mode and redetect the hardware.

Reboot and it will probably be OK.

Tell us what the model # of the printer is---or just try installing it using the Ubuntu tools.
