I haven't been able to find anything about that on google, so here goes... I tend to work with many windows, and I like having all of them in view (maximizing is sometimes just a waste of screen real estate). But always resizing them manually is not very comfortable.
So, is there something that would allow me to define different regions on the screen that the windows would then maximize to? Optimally, the regions would have "sticky borders", like the edges of the screen.
Basically, I'm looking for something like the windows program MaxTo
I don't really care which window manager it's for (except ion3 or related window managers - I'm using that for work, but sometimes, I just want it to be pretty
), though I'd prefer, in this order: Gnome, xfce, KDE. Hey, don't look at me like that - I said I wanted it pretty, not efficient
Thanks a lot in advance,
