smtp port unblocking


Hi,

am a newbie in linux especially as far as iptables. i have a linux box as a proxy, and the firewall scripts are doing okay. The problem is that the smtp port has blocked, which i have verified using nmap 'default gateway'. I need the port open, so that users can send emails from their computers, uisng outlook. Can someone help please.

Why don't you post your existing rule-set so we
get an idea what the extra rule is supposed to
be similar to?
