smtp & pop 3 (newbie quest)


can someone tell me what do i have to do to get mails and send emails from my linux box? i've started sendmail and pop3 services but i'm stuck how do i create email accounts and log in to them and send?

Who is your internet provider?

typically it is:

smtp.frontiernet.net
pop3.frontiernet.net

replace the frontiernet.net with you internet provider.

sorry what i meant is i want to turn my linux box into a pop3, smtp server? can you show me how?
