Can anybody tell how to install a modem driver remotely to a smoothwall box..

I am running a windows 2000 server with 95/98 clients.

I connect to the smoothwall box via my web browser, but how do i install a driver which I downloaded to my 2000 server ???

I need advice on installing a smoothwall modem driver ???

Also need 2 no more info on setting up smoothwall with external modem..

Howto, what wireing is needed, how do i connect it to my RED nic or will it be RED.

I'm not too sure, but I think this should work.

You would need to ssh in and make sure that samba is setup so that you can put a file somewhere on the smoothwalls hdd. Put the rpm/tgz file on to the harddisk and then ssh back in to install it.

Obviously, if ssh is not installed/working then the above will be somewhat more difficult, but there should be the option to either telnet, or more likely, ssh in to the box from the web-browsers interface.
