SMC wireless
Hi,
Hope someone can help me out here. I'm not an absolute newbie have been using Linux since Caldera days, although code and that stuff still leaves me baffled.
I have Fedora 10 installed and all was working fine until I tried to use the wireless connection.
This is what I have;
SMC EC Connect N Draft 11n Wireless USB2.
Nowhere does it appear on the hardware list. Am I right in thinking that if the hardware can't be found in the first place, no amount of "software" will make it work, or I could be wrong?
This problem is not specific to Fedora, can't get it to work with Mandriva, Mint or the ubiquitous Kubuntu either.
Obviously I am using XP(64) to send this message, so I will have to print out any solutions.
