smb.log / smb.conf problem (printcap) on VU+DUO tuner using Samba

I have a linux tuner (VU+DUO) which use Samba. The tuner is connected by cable to my router and home network. Using Ftp I can look into the tuner and found that the smb.log every 1/2 hour is filled up with new report like this (10.0.0.5 is my home computer, 10.0.0.6 is the tuner):

write_data: write failure in writing to client 10.0.0.5. Error Connection reset by peer
[2010/12/23 12:16:29, 0] lib/util_sock.c:send_smb(769)
Error writing 4 bytes to client. -1. (Connection reset by peer)
[2010/12/23 12:48:29, 0] printing/pcap.ccap_cache_reload(159)
Unable to open printcap file /etc/printcap for read!
[2010/12/23 12:48:29, 0] printing/pcap.ccap_cache_reload(159)
Unable to open printcap file /etc/printcap for read!
[2010/12/23 12:48:29, 0] lib/util_sock.c:get_peer_addr(1229)
getpeername failed. Error was Transport endpoint is not connected
[2010/12/23 12:48:29, 0] lib/util_sock.c:write_data(562)
write_data: write failure in writing to client 10.0.0.5. Error Connection reset by peer

A tried a suggest from another user with the same problem.

/etc/samba/smb.conf should be like this:

[global]
printcap name = /dev/null
load printers = no
guest account = root
log file

but with no change in the smb.log by me, unfortunately. (the /tmp/smb.log - on the highest level). Could there be some hierarcy map problem ?

I have a printer in the network - but I have not connected / loaded it from the linux device - and don't want to do it either, because I don't need this opportunity.

I have some feeling that the half-hourly prosess come from a more serious matter, but what can it be ?

New to linux,
