SMART error(currentPendingSector)

i have RHEL 5 installed on my system..
i am continuously receiving mail from smartd daemon which is a disk monitoring system that it has detected a currently unreadable(pending) sectors with the partition name.

as far as i figured it out that i had installed multiple OS (windows xp) also. the partition name that is displayed in the error mail is where i had installed windows.

now my problem is that somehow i want smartd daemon to skip monitoring this partition and only to monitor the ext3 partition.
please help i am annoyed bcoz it sends the same mail after every hour.

/etc/smartd.conf should allow you to manually specify which partitions you want to scan. Do you have the ones you want to monitor explicitly listed or are you using smartd's DEVICESCAN to automatically pick them up?
