Slackware8.0 and soundblaster live help needed!? please


just like the topic can't & don't know how install , my guess is "insmod module.o" but I don't know what is the speciffic module:smash:

Go to /etc/rc.d
edit rc.modules
scroll down to sound support and you'll see the SB Live! module named EMU10K1
Uncomment the line /sbin/modprobe/emu10k1 by removing the hash/pound sign (#)
save and reboot. Should load on boot everytime now. It should be modularized by default in the kernel, if not you'll have to do it.
Or you could insmod also as you asked.
