Well, this tutorial isn't Slackware specific, but most if not all of it should work http://rute.2038bug.com/index.html.gz

In order to learn Linux commands, you can find lots of useful guides (PDF versions) here: http://tldp.org/guides.html

Most of the commands will work in most of the Linux distro. So just keep reading, keep practicing! :)

I see in your profile that Slackware 14.0 is shown. Why download to install Slackware 12.0?

You can find links to helpful information at SlackwareŽ-Links.

New Slackbook which is still beta. SlackwareŽ Essentials (Original Slackbook) & SlackwareŽ Basics both provide some informative helpful information.

Checkout the links in my signature, especially Slackware Doc Project which is composed by fellow Slackers.

Sticky So you want to be a Slacker! What do I do next? in Slackware forum tries to keep up to date information & pointers for Slackers.

Happy Slacking! :)
