Slackware install questions

New to linux, just installed slackware. A couple questions. I created a small swapfile partition, how do I mark it as the swap partition? Is this in cfdisk/fdisk, setup or after the install? I chose windowmaker for the GUI, but it boots up into the console. How do I configure it to start up in the gui, or what command is it? Thanks for the patience in answering my simple but obvious questions.

How/where/when did you make the swap partition? :)
Usually you'd set the partition type to 82 in fdisk/cfdisk,
and Slack would then pick it up automagically.

Modify /etc/inittab to start runlevel 4 instead of 3,
or manually start X by typing startx

Cheers,
Tink
