Slackware & Debian ISO's corrupt?

I spent several hours downloading the Slackware, Debian First CD, and the VectorLin SOHO edition, ISO's (not at the same time) and now that they are downloaded, rather than being 650mb files each... slackware is 5.76, debian is 3.81, and vect is: 11.2

this makes no sense to me at all since the downloads executed fine (win2k), i tried burning them... the files on the cd are about 15kb or so total.... its ridiculous

im using Roxio EZ CD Creator 5

any ideas?

Use a download program to get the ISO's, like Getright. Then before burning anything always check if the files are not corrupt by comparing MD5 sums (see http://www.pc-tools.net/win32/freeware/md5sums/).

With Roxio, just Double Click on the ISO, and leave all the settings as-is, and that should work. Did you do that?

yup, tried that and what it burned amounted to 15 kb in all... all the files were there.. but they were basically empty but the cd said that it had used 545 mb or so
