slackware 9.1 ->Debian 5: only 486 mb of memory. Bad Idea?
Hey all,
My work's web server is old and only has 486 Mb of RAM in it. It at least has a SCSI drive, but RAM concerned me. I am hoping to move from slackware 9.1 to debian 4 or 5, but the debian wiki stated: Code:
How much RAM do I need? So, before I make the computer smoke, I thought I would check with the pros. Thanks. |
If the machine it is able to do it with slackware it should be fine with debian too.
