slackware 9.0 SCSI problems..


We've booted the 'scsi.s'-kernel from the Slackware 9.0 Installation disc. Still, cfdisk can't detect the disc, it's a Seagate 16GB. The Adaptec AHA-2940 PCI SCSI-controller card detects the drive but we can't get it to work inside Linux.

do you mean that you got the drive to work in another OS(like windows)? how did you start cfdisk? did you type cfdisk /dev/sda not /dev/sd0? and what does it say?
