Slackware 9.0 / MySQL /PHP/Apache ..?


Hi all,
could someone who doing php programming post their php.ini/mysql set up info.

You might want to have a read through this pdf on the Snort site. Yes, I know it is aimed at RedHat and is about setting up Snort, but it goes through (in great detail) setting up MySQL, PHP and Apache to work together.

Just ignore the RH specific bits and it works great for Slackware. At least it did for me.

Ok, i have got it working :-) .The solution was very simple indeed.What i did i just created a symbolic link to /var/run/mysql/mysql.sock ( ln -s /var/run/mysql/mysql.sock /tmp/mysql.sock ).
