Slackpkg updating not able to connect

I am using Slack 12.1

I run slackpkg update, it tells me to uncomment one mirror. I did that. Then when I try to connect, it says it resolved, then when it tries to connect, it always times out and retries and so on and so forth.

Did I not configure something, or what? Thanks for the feedback.

I've tried many mirrors. I've learned that I need to configure wget to work with my proxy, trying to figure it out, haven't gotten much yet.
