Thanx a lot, as noob as I am I wasn't sure if open suse and sled10 which is what I have are fully compatible just wanted to be sure.
They're not technically but I'd have a good feeling it will work without problems. If it complains about dependencies, probably easy to find and install.
Well it doesn't work with SLED10 is there any other skype clone I may look at?
Download the source to compile and install. Choose either the Dynamic, Static or Static OSS from the same site. But if you give us the error you may have encountered, we might be able to assist in what went wrong. And there is no such thing as a skype clone to work with skype services if that's what you're looking for.
