Exclamation SIMPLE database needed!

I'm trying to build a simple database application. Preferably, this would be cross-platform, though if I can use my RH9 to build it, then save into another form later, I'll do that.

Just need switchboard, forms, tables, queries and reports - just the basic stuff, and I don't have time to learn much sql code. I was hoping for a "linux version of MS Access" or something like that, since I used Access in the past. DEFINATELY need a x-windows app - not a console/text app.

Any ideas out there?

PS: I've tried installing Firebird, with no success so far. Mysql needs packages I don't have, and i need to get started soon. Help, please! Thanks...

But.... ?????

Will easyPHP run on RH9? I checked out the site, and it appears to be only a Windows app.
