I am a regular visitor to http://www.linuxquestions.org

What i want to ask is that on the forum's page i.e. say

on the page LinuxQuestions.org > Forums > Linux - Newbie

where the list of all the Threads is given there is an icon corresponding

to each thread

My question is that why is my icon different than all other thread icons ?

It always is different than all the other icons and u won't find the same icon in any

other thread. It is kind of odd to find nobody else's thread ever has that icon

I know that it is a silly question but could somebody tell me the significance of the icon

and help me out

If you scroll to the bottom of the page it tells you what each icon
means. Are you talking about the icon that looks like it has a black
dot on the envelope? That means "You Have Posted" and each of
us will have that icon ONLY on a thread where "we have posted..."

Ya i ment that icon with a black dot on the envelope

I kind of guessed its meaning but wasn't sure
